Using the family portal

The family portal is your window into everything your family has going on at the studio. Your studio will email you an invitation, sent in the studio's name — follow its link to create your login. The portal lives on your studio's own web address (their studio link on encorestudio.app), so bookmark it after your first sign-in.

What's inside

• Calendar — every upcoming lesson for your students. If your studio allows online cancellation, you can cancel a lesson here (outside the studio's cutoff window) and earn a make-up credit. The Calendar also shows the make-ups ready to book, how many more can be earned this quarter and, under Make-up credits to use, the date each credit must be used by.

• Students — your students, what each is enrolled in, and their make-up credits.

• Announcements — news your studio has published, with pinned notices at the top.

• Messages — a private conversation with the studio, and with your students' teachers.

• Enrollments — active and past enrollments, plus a button to start a new one.

• Documents — your quotes, agreements, and invoices. Approve, sign, and pay from here.

• Events — recitals and other studio events, including sign-ups and tickets.

• Refer a friend — your personal link to share, if your studio runs a referral program.

• Manage account — what you are enrolled in, how you pay for each charge, and pausing or ending lessons.

• Help — this help center.

Manage account

Under How you pay, each of your charges says whether it is paid automatically or by an invoice emailed to you, and when the next one is due.

To take a break or stop lessons, press Manage Enrollments and open the student. Pause Enrollment appears if your studio lets families pause; Cancel Enrollment takes you through a few short questions, then shows you — before you confirm — when lessons and payments end under your studio's notice period.

Email works too

You never need the portal to act on something urgent — quote approvals, agreement signing, and invoice payment all work straight from the secure links in the studio's emails, no login required. The portal is where the full history lives.

On your phone

The portal works in any phone browser. An Encore Studio app for iPhone and Android is coming in December 2026; until then, the browser is the way in.

Trouble signing in?

Your login is tied to the email address the studio has on file. If you cannot get in or your students are missing, contact the studio — they can fix the email on file and resend your invitation.
