The Encore Studio app for families
Updated Oct 9, 2026
For familiesAn Encore Studio app for iPhone and Android is on its way, launching in December 2026. It is not in the App Store or Google Play yet. Until it is, everything below already works in the family portal in your browser.
What you will be able to do
Home — your next lessons, unread messages, each child's make-up credits, and the studio's pinned announcements, with All announcements for the rest.
Schedule — your lessons week by week. Open one for its details, and to cancel it with Cancel lesson while your studio's cancellation window is still open.
Messages — your conversation with the studio, and with your children's teachers (Message a teacher).
Documents — your invoices with the balance due, and your agreements. Open an invoice to see it in full, view its PDF, or pay it.
Profile — notifications, the privacy policy, signing out, and deleting your account.
Paying from the app
Open an invoice and tap Pay. You pay on Stripe's secure page inside the app — Encore never sees your card. Back in the app, a payment can take a moment to show; pull down to refresh.
What stays on the web for now
Signing an agreement. Your studio emails you a signing link, just as it does today.
Booking a make-up lesson. The app shows your credits and when each must be used by; your studio books the lesson.
Signing in
Use the email address your studio has for you. You can choose:
Email me a code — we email you a six-digit code.
Use a password instead — if you have set a password for the family portal.
Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
There is no sign-up in the app. Your studio has to invite you first — the invitation is what connects your login to your family. If you have not had one, ask your studio to invite you at the email address they have for you.
Find my family
If you sign in with Apple or Google using an address your studio does not have — Apple's Hide My Email, for example — the app cannot tell which family is yours, and opens Find my family. Enter the email address your studio has for you, then the code we send to it. That proves the address is yours and connects you through the studio's invitation. If the studio has not invited that address yet, the app tells you; ask them to send the invitation, then try again.
More than one studio or child
If your login belongs to more than one studio or family — or you also teach — the app asks who you are here for. Switch at any time with Switch studio or family on Home or Profile.
Notifications
When the app launches it will be able to tell you about a new message, a cancelled lesson, a lesson coming up, a new or past-due invoice, and a new announcement. They follow the same choices as your studio's emails, and the lock screen shows only the studio's name and a short line — never message text, amounts or your children's names.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Profile and choose Delete account. That deletes your Encore login; your studio keeps its own records of your family, invoices, payments, agreements and messages, so ask them directly if you want those erased. The full details, including how to do it without the app, are at encorestudio.app/help/delete-account.
